Welcome To The Working Week

Monday, Monday. Fuck. No more weekend and five workdays to go. Oh well, at least I have diet Mountain Dew and a pulse, so it’s on with the show!

And I have a good one for you today. We’ve got the weekly Squeal of Fortune contest and then a Commentators Corner featuring another cool painting from Zioum Zioum the Chainsaw. And we’ve also got another edition of, Children’s Letter’s to the Marty Wombacher Show. Momentarily I’ll be updating the Daily Photo and then Condensed Gossip.

Great Home Page art today, by our resident artist, “Boris.” Those piles of empty Budweisers make me remember the weekend! Great work, Daddio! If you’d like some great work like this on your website, “Boris” is available for freelance. He also designs CD covers, creates logos, does retouching and any other artistic thingabob you can think of, just email me and I’ll forward it along.

Okay, stay tuned for the updates, or check the links at the bottom of the Home Page for current updates.

Welcome to the working week!

Daily Video

Subteranean Walrus

This is a cool short video I found of a mashup of Bob Dylan’s iconic “Subeterranean Homesick Blues” video set to the Beatles, “I Am The Walrus.”

I hope you’re all having a good Sunday, cheers! And thanks for all the great comments, funny stuff!

Sunday Time Waster

Do you ever go to a website thinking you’ll just look at it and before you know it you’ve wasted a couple hours doing nothing constructive? It happens to me all the time, so I thought every Sunday I would start posting a time-wasting website. Because Sunday’s are perfect for this sort of activity.

Today’s time waster is one where you try to stop the falling sand from hitting the bottom and create designs. There are tools at the bottom left to play with. Mess around with it and soon you’ll fine the afternoon and evening has flown by like a pile of sand!

Here’s the site: Falling Sand.

Enjoy your wasted afternoon and evening!

Marty’s Snappy Endings to Religious Prayers!

Hold on to your socks if you’re wearing any, because here we go with...
Marty’s Snappy Endings to Religious Prayers!

---------------------

Our Father, who Art in Heaven.
Hey, God, when did you change your name to Art?

---------------------

Lord God Almighty,
You have brought us safely to the beginning of this day.

Now will you please turn the motherfucking water into diet Mountain Dew, already?
I’m groggy as fuck-all over here!

---------------------

Hail Mary, full of Grace.
Full of Grace? Hey, Mary, what are you, some kind of a freaking cannibal? Sheeesh!

---------------------

Eternal Father, I desire to rest in Your Heart this night.
And I pray it is filled with Budweiser, for without it I cannot sleep.

---------------------

To Thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.

Eve Plumb? (Ha ha ha! I’m really cracking myself up over here!)

---------------------

I offer to You, my Lord, my every breath and heartbeat as a prayer of reparation.
But God, please keep your clammy mitts off my beer and diet Mountain Dew.

---------------------

Amen.
That means “goodbye” in Godspeak, motherfuckers. Sneeze you all later. Go in Peace or forever hold your cheese. Et tu spiiriiittt tu tu oh!

Commentator Corner

Welcome to Commentator Corner. If you’re a commentator at the Marty Wombacher Show, feel free to send me images, writings, thoughts, photos, whatever. You’re a part of the show and I’m happy to spotlight your creativity.

Joey Delgado (Professor Joey D) is today’s spotlit Commentator and he has a knack for finding freaky animals on the roadside of the internet highway. Here’s his fourth entry from his Zombie-Woof Zoo collection that he’s sharing with us. I don’t know what the fuck this is, but I once woke up with a girl who resembled this creature!

Thanks Joey, keep the Zombie-Woof images coming (pun intendended.)

Okay, I’m not really awake yet, but here we go with the Lazy-Ass shortened version of The Marty Wombacher Show. Soon I’ll be posting the Sunday Religious Gossip, Professor Joey D is in the Commentator Corner with a selection from his Zombie-Woof Zoo, since Jesus didn’t kill me Thursday I thought I’d push it and feature some answers to religious prayers, then I’m featuring a Sunday Time Waster and we’ll end it all with a Daily Video which I’ll post right before I got our for my Sunday dinner and get smashed!

Happy Sunday all, cheers and beers and whatevers!

Pigmy Will

This is my newest favorite character: Pigmy Will! Here’s my interpetation of the recipe for Pigmy Will: One part Edward Scissorhands, one part Mr. Bill, one part each of Andy Kaufman, Pee Wee Herman and Tony Clifton. Now marinate them in mescaline and serve with a side order of helium and you have the contagious character of Pigmy Will!

My favorite part is at the end where he says, “Click here to see more Pigmy Will!”

My friend Mark Blackwell turned me on to this and Pygmy Will is the creation of a collaboration between Prudence Fenton and Allee Willis, two creative geniuses!

Prudence Fenton worked on Pee Wee’s Playhouse and was a voice, creative director and producer on the show. She’s also worked for Disney, music videos and tons of other creative and fun things. Here’s her website to read all about her: Prudence Fenton Website.

Allee Willis has written hit songs for everyone from Earth Wind and Fire to the Pointer Sisters to The Rembrandts. You can read all about her music career and a lot of other super-creative things she’s been involved with through the years at her website: Allee Willis Website. And check out her kitsch blog here: Allee Willis Kitsch Blog.

And now...Pigmy Will! Click on the screen when it ends to see all episodes!

I lost the Lottery!

But, the good news is so did everyone else. It's now up to $124 Million! So we'll try again next Tuesday.
