Vacation

Since I’m taking a two day vacation till this Saturday, I thought this video would be a proper sendoff. It’s my favorite part of the movie “Vacation,” which I believe was Chevy Chase’s last moment of funnieness.

See you all on Saturday! Behave while I’m gone and keep your hands out of the Jesus Hole!

Website of the Week

Once a week I thought I’d feature a website that’s just doing something for the sheer fuck and love of it. So please don’t send me links to your band’s website or your blog for this. But if you know of someone doing something fun and/or wacky, please email me the link and it might just end up the Website of the Week! (Like that’s a big fucking deal!)

This Weeks Website: My First Dictionary

Another great example of how a simple idea can be used for hours of fun! My First Dictionary is set up like pages from an actual first dictionary, except the definitions are hilarious! Here’s two of my favorites:

The website is on summer vacation right now, but there’s enough in the archive to peruse to keep you chuckling till he returns. Enjoy!

Hat tip to Hania Bednarski for sending me to this site! Thanks Hania! Hania (and Raul to the left.)

P.O. Box 395 Part 2 of 2!

Okay as promised, I scanned in most of the stuff from the Zioum Zioum package and here it is!

Here’s a hand drawn poster for show from Zioum Zioum, very cool! I love the logo!

A customized cartoon, see motherfucker?

To ostrich ass!

To ostrich feather!

Cool art by Zioum Zioum!

Just a sampling of the many beer labels that were included (I appreciate you drinking all those beers just to send me the labels, Zioum Zioum!)

And speaking of beer, bottle caps!

Three scratch and win tickets...but I’m not sure if I won.

A copy of Psiko Pat magazine with translations by Zioum Zioum

Here are the front and backs of three beer coasters. The backs have hilarious cartoons by Zioum Zioum on them.

And here are the fronts and backs of coasters from the AB Bar, where we are all going as soon as I hit the lottery! The backs are drawn by patrons of the bar and all are messages to TMWS! Thanks to all who drew on them, that is so cool! I will buy each and every one of you 99 beers when the winning ticket comes in!

Thanks again for the package, Zioum Zioum, very cool!

If you’d like to send something in to TMWS, just send it here:

Commentator Corner

Welcome to Commentator Corner. If you’re a commentator at the Marty Wombacher Show, feel free to send me images, writings, thoughts, photos, whatever. You’re a part of the show and I’m happy to spotlight your creativity.

Jaws the Cabbie is featured today, and he proposed a challenge to all of you. He asked that you put a caption to this piece of nuclear art he worked up for TMWS. Later on in the day I’ll post his caption, let’s see if anyone can come close! Thanks for the artwork, Jaws!

Jaws has a book out called Two Fisted Driving Tales, if you liked Bernie X from the National Lampoon, you’ll love the book, check it out here: Two Fisted Cab Driving Tales

And Jaws’ other book, Two Fisted Customer Service Tales can be checked out here: Two Fisted Customer Service Tales.

Fuck I Have To Go To Work Early!

Today’s posting’s may be a little spotty, because I have to go in to work early, which sucks because I’m operating on about three hours of sleep. So it’s going to be a little bit shorter of a show, but coming up we’ve got Jaws the Cabbie with a cool piece of art and a caption challenge, I’ll post part two of my P.O. Box package from Zioum Zioum and her AB Bar Family, I may try to do an at work “Got Any Gum,” episode, if it’s not too busy there and of course the fake ad and a Daily Video.

“Boris’” Home Page art
is right on the money today, because I really do feel behind the old eight ball today, seeing as I have to go in about four hours early. Great job as always, Daddio! If you’re behind the eight ball and need some custom artwork for your website, a CD or book cover, a logo designed, retouching or any other artistic type of endeavor, “Boris” is available for freelance work. Just send me an email from the Home Page and I’ll forward it along.

Oh and I’ve got to work early Thursday and Friday, so I think the show will be on hiatus for two days. I was starting to run behind on material, so this will give me a couple days to catch up. I’ll be back on track Saturday, so enjoy the show and please tune back in this coming Saturday.

Have a great day, because it’s doubtful I will! Oh well, that’s why they invented beer, cheers!

Jonathan Winters

The first time I ever saw Jonathan Winters was when I was a kid and I saw his show, “The Wacky World of Jonathan Winters.” He specialized in doing skits with things found in the TV shows attics. Yet he was no prop comic like Carrot Top, he was a true original who would take an ordinary object and turn it into a hilarous mind-blowing skit. Watch him in action with a plain stick on the Tonight Show wa;y back when Jack Paar was the host. Jonathan Winters: GENIUS!
