The Raveonettes is one of the few new bands that I really like. They’re sound is kind of a mix of Phil Spector type production and garage rock. Their name comes from the Buddy Holly song “Rave On,” and the last five letters of the Ronettes.

So I thought I’d have a triple bill for tonight’s Sunday video. First “Candy” by the Raveonettes, then “Rave On” by Buddy Holly and finally “Be My Baby,” by The Ronettes.
