The Larch “Return of the Chimera”
Here’s a cool video by some pals of mine, The Larch. This is a great power pop rocking band that hails from Brooklyn, NY. Below are some facts I copied from their Youtube information because I’m too lazy to write anymore right now. Great song and great video! If you live in the Tri-State area, watch them live at one of their many venues, you’ll be happy you did! And now, to quote our cover boy, Joe Friday (so artfully depicted by “Boris”), just the facts:
Return of the Chimera by the Larch is from the 2008 album Gravity Rocks. Video editing & direction Steve DeSeve and Ian Roure. The Larch are Ian Roure: Guitar vocals; Liza Garelik: keyboards vocals; Tom Pope: Drums and Ross Bonadonna: bass and recording engineer. Actors: Dan Gareau and Aly Rey.
Chimera: Creature from Greek mythology composed of parts from different animals (i.e. the body of a lioness, a goat's head growing out of its back and a snake for a tail.) In modern biological research "chimeric" animals have been genetically engineered to possess cells taken from different creatures e.g. mice that have blood (or even brain matter) that is 100% human.
