Sunday Video!

Sing Me Back Home

Gram Parsons is one of those guys that I think he knew he was going to die young. He squeezed a lot of shit in his 26 years on this planet. He was in one of the biggest bands of the ‘60s, the Byrds and was highly influential in their country album, “Sweetheart of the Rodeo,” which bombed when it came out but was very influential in later years. He also started the Flying Burrito Brothers, which again wasn’t a commercial band, but they influenced a ton of people.

Not too many bands of the 60’s era would’ve had the balls too cover a Merle Haggard song, but the Burrito’s did. Here it is. Happy Sunday evening!
