Why oh why can’t Jesus fly?
I’m really wondering why.
He knows how to kneel,
He knows how to heal,
So why can’t this guy fly?
Why oh why?
Why, why, why?
Why can’t Jesus fly?
Fly Jesus fly.
Fly, fly, fly.
Fly like a little snowbird Jesus,
Maybe Anne Murray will sing about you then.
Anne Murray looks like an old mother hen.
She sucks and I don’t like her at all!
Why oh why?
Why, why, why?
Why can’t Jesus fly?
Come on Jesus, fly in the air,
Lose your inhibitions and fly totally bare!
Fly in the sky as high as you like,
Fly in the clouds while riding a bike.
Fly in the air with nary a care,
Come on Jesus, this is a dare!
Why oh why?
Why, why, why?
Why can’t Jesus fly?
You turned water into wine,
You even cured the blind,
So Jesus, why can’t you fly?
