Cheap Trick are one of my favorite all time bands and they were a huge influence on a lot of bands. Kurt Cobain said that Cheap Trick was a huge influence on Nirvana and Billy Corgan idolizes them. This is one of my favorite Cheap Trick songs. It’s called "Oh Candy," and it's a song about a photographer friend of the band who committed suicide. Cheap Trick nicknamed him “Candy” because his initials were, “M” and “M.”

One of my favorites as well! The first concert i took my son to was Cheap Trick so he could see the Great Bun E Carlos! My son was just starting out playing the drums at the time! Cheap Trick played all over the midwest as a bar band in the old days! Their original singer Xeno still plays with Milwaukee's Bad Boy on occasion! Cheap Trick will be performing at Summerfest with Def Leppard and Poison this year! I have not seen them in a few years but i'm sure they are as good as ever! I hear that they have a new record coming out soon!
