Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 9:49AM Once again, I'm up early. The results of a 4 day weekend. I'm a little weaned off my night shift schedule and wondering how you people can stand living in these hours. Morning is horrible! Light posting again today, a daily poll in a couple minutes, religious gossip (starring Joey D!) a MySpace rerun blog and a Daily Video in the early evening. But now, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson tell it like it is. Have a good Sunday everyone! I'm going to go chug some diet Mountain Dew and wait for nighttime.

Funny.......I was listening to Kris Kristofferson's Austin Sessions CD out on the patio Saturday night.....had a fire going, a beer going.....the dogs sleeping on the grass.......it was very quiet in the neighborhood. Listening to his music against the background of crackling logs was......well.......one of those perfect moments that passes too quickly! I saw him on some Elvis Costello cable show not long ago.......a guitar pull...with Mellencamp, Rosanne Cash and what's her face.......Ravi Shankar's daughter? Kris sang this song and blew everyone off the stage! There is something about his songs....they live and breathe as you listen to them......as though you can smell the whiskey and tobacco on his breath as he sings them! One of my favorites.....and i thought it was funny you should send me this particular comment the day after! Thanks!
By the way........Morning does suck unless you slide into it from yesterday as i am doing right now! Cheers and Happy Memorial Day Motherfucker!
