P.O. Box 395
This was another successful run to P.O. Box 395 today! I made my weekly trek to the P.O. Box and was happily surprised to find two items in there. And they are both mystery mailers again! Nobody’s signing their name’s to this stuff and it’s cracking me up.
First up is a Postcard. Here’s the front:
On the back the mystery mailer writes:
“The Marty Wombacher Show has become so popular, so quickly, it needs nubile young interns!”
Now how did you know that one of my favorite words is “nubile?” Thanks for the post card, I’m putting it on my refrigerator!
The second piece of mail is from last week’s mystery person, I think. I say this judging from the cool potpourri of contents inside. Here’s the envelope. The postage stamp says it's from Westchester, NY.
Inside are the following treasures:
A Stop & Shop coupon for $1.00 off of Wolfgang Puck’s canned soups. We don’t have Stop & Shops here in Manhattan, but if they ever open up, discounted soup will definitely be up!
Here’s a 100 dollar chip for a Las Vegas Casino. Hey Mystery Person, is this thing real? Let me know in the comments, you don’t have to put your name, just say, “Yes,” or “No.” If it’s real I may do a special Las Vegas weekend Marty Wombacher show and let it ride!
And finally there’s a card from a restaurant called, “Mild Wally’s.” The name of this joint really cracks me up. They sell spicy foods like pizza and chicken wings, so wouldn’t you think they’d go for a name like, “Wild Wally’s” instead of “Mild Wally’s?” I mean, what’s up, Mild Wally’s was “Bland Wally’s” already taken? Here's Mild Wally's website. Check out their unique spelling of the word, "Thursday!"
Anyway, big, big thanks to the two mystery mailers of the week. When I started this I really didn’t think people would send stuff in and it’s really cool that people are doing this! Mucho thanks you mystery mailers you!
That’s all for this week’s P.O. Box 395, till next week, keep them cards and letters coming in.
